Divertimento String Quartet

Divertimento Quartet will bring you a programme of widely varying music which shows the range of contrasting music written for this genre. They will play music from Mozart to Shostakovich; Beethoven to Villa Lobos and Bach to Verdi.

The ensemble of two violins, viola and cello has been blessed by the attention of some of the greatest, and some less well-known, composers down the ages. They firmly believe that interaction with an audience is an important element in the enjoyment of a concert performance and in this sense the participation of their audience brings them their greatest pleasure.?
