The Liverpool band known for their big, ballsy anthems brimming with urgent saxophone and meaty riffs; swampy rhythms and pop to jump around to. The Zutons scored two Top 10 hits with Why Won’t You Give Me Your Love? and Valerie which went on to become one of Amy Winehouse's biggest hits produced by Mark Ronson. On hiatus since 2009, The Zutons members have each continued their own impressive careers. Dave McCabe released an album under his solo moniker ‘Dave McCabe And The Ramifications’ in 2015, whilst bass player Russell Pritchard is a part of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. The original line-up reunited in 2016.

As Wales' favourite psychedelic popsters, the Super Furry Animals have inspired a whole generation of artists since their emergence in the mid-nineties. Recording in both English and Welsh, they changed the way that many thought about the language, whilst producing some of the finest summery Beach Boys-inspired indie to have surfaced in the last two decades.

Ida Maria mixes a dash of a Gallaghar's gob, a sprinkling of Winehouse's recklessness, a splash of Bjork's pixie like chic with a large serving of Chrissie Hynde's musical sensibility, a sizeable slice of her hero Iggy Pop's live performance style, and not to mention a bucket load of infectious material, Ida Maria has all the ingredients necessary to make it Big.

In a dance world where drum machines and pounding basslines rule, Saint Etienne have always been a welcome purveyor of fresh pop, dance and ambient fusion. With Sarah Cracknell's breathy, etheral vocal still sending shivers down the spine and a back catalogue including 'Only Love Will Break Your Heart' and 'He's On The Phone' to draw on, plug in and start dreaming.

During hiphop's nearly 30 year history, few names have become as well known to music lovers across the globe as that of Grandmaster Flash. Not only is he responsible for inventing the musical genre called hiphop and a worldwide musical culture but his pioneering use of the turntables make him the first DJ to play the turntables as a musical instrument!
Grandmaster Flash tour dates
Seminal '70s post-punk band formed in Prestwich, Greater Manchester, led by the inimitable Mark E Smith. Of all the late-'70s punk and post-punk bands, none are longer-lived or more prolific than The Fall, having been known to always push boundaries, and never afraid to experiment.
Famously described as 'always different, always the same' by BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel, they have maintained their cult status over the decades with an ever-evolving style that still maintains a foundation of jagged guitars, sing-speak vocals, and keyboards to create experimental, abrasive and dense musical cacophony.
The Fall tour dates
The legendary UK funkmeister and Hammond guru, playing rare groove and jazz funk, mixed in with a little soul. His quartet are guaranteed to tear the roof off with their '60s & '70s-tinged funky-jazz instrumentals.
James Taylor Quartet (JTQ) tour dates

One of the country's top reggae and dub acts, founded in 1993 by Greg Roberts and Tim Bran. Their debut album 360° set the stage for the follow up, Second Light, to be cited as a favourite of John Peel's and saw them play at Glastonbury just one year after their formation. Continuing to record and release new music, Dreadzone for many years hosted Dubweiser at Notting Hill Arts Club, and subsequently released Once Upon A Time in 2005. Their continued popularity remains a testament to their presence in British music.
Dreadzone tour dates
Formed in 1977 to promote Ian Dury's album New Boots and Panties on the first Stiff Records tour of the UK. The Blockheads are fronted by Derek 'The Draw' Hussey, who was Ian's best friend and is now the band's vocalist and wordsmith. Chaz Jankel, Norman Watt-Roy, John Turnbull and Mick Gallagher still remain from the original band and the current line-up is augmented by John Roberts on drums and a rolling line up of saxophonists including Gilad Atzmon, Terry Edwards or Dave Lewis. These legendary Brit-Funkers will be playing all the old favourites and new material.

Norman Jay is unquestionably one of the most respected and popular DJs in the world today. Co-founder of the legendary Good Times Sound System and London dance music station KISS FM, Jay fostered the ‘Rare Groove’ scene pushing the boundaries of the UK’s emerging club culture.
Awarded an MBE for services to DJing and music, he recently compiled his most eclectic compilation to date, ‘Good Times Skank & Boogie’. He continues to tour around the UK, converting generations of clubbers to the cause, championing new sounds, yet never forgetting his musical roots, thus guaranteeing nothing but ‘Good Times’.

Best known as a radio presenter on Saturday afternoons on BBC 6Music and as an international club DJ, Gilles Peterson is also an avid record collector, a curator, a music producer and record label boss. Every year he puts on two large events – the Worldwide Awards in London which are his annual showcase of that years best music and the Worldwide Festival which has expanded to two editions – one in south of France in July and one in Switzerland in March. He also presents a syndicated weekly radio show that is broadcast all over the globe, from Shanghai and Sydney to France and Germany.

Pioneering rap band whose 'Rappers Delight' was the first ever rap song to hit the top 40 charts. Two of the original members of this historic group, Wonder Mike (Michael Wright) and Master Gee (Guy O'Brien) had teamed up with Henry Jackson (aka Big Bank Hank) to become the now famous Sugarhill Gang. This is where rap music began...respect!

Jah Shaka has been operating his South East London-based roots reggae Jamaican sound system since the early 1970s. Despite being reggae, they were a huge influence on post-punk acts like Public Image Ltd and The Slits and dance outfits like Basement Jaxx. In 1980 Shaka played himself in the film 'Babylon', operating his Sound System in a soundclash at the climax of the story. Jah's devoted followers have developed dance steps that resemble African war dances, and the Sound System continue to appear regularly in London, with occasional tours of the United States, Europe and Japan.
