Ian Prowse makes another spine-tingling appearance at The Cruck Barn due to huge public demand! Ian Prowse was the lead singer and songwriter with the legendary 90's indie band Pele - a band who garnered an enormous following and even had a number one hit in South Africa. Following the end of Pele, Ian formed Amsterdam - a band with whom he wrote the classic 'Does This Train Stop On Merseyside?' - one of John Peel's favourite songs (which has been covered by Christy Moore).

Now Ian tours as a solo artist - sometimes backed by Amsterdam and often with a revolving door of incredible fiddle players! Ian recently toured the UK openig for his friend Elvis Costello and Ian's Friday night online shows during lockdown rightly became the stuff of legend. Whether it's Pele, Amsterdam or Ian Prowse, it's actually the same thing - a night of incredible music, reaching into rock, folk, soul, Celtic music and all points in between. Come see the 'Scouse Springsteen' in action, performing his superb songs in an idyllic setting.
