West Country folk singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Seth Lakeman has successfully steered English folk into the mainstream with high-energy performances and a series of best-selling albums including his current album Word Of Mouth which entered the charts at No.20 on release in February 2014 to rave reviews: ‘His finest in years’ ~ Evening Standard
Word Of Mouth is a defining album for Seth Lakeman and features the stories of the real local West Country people who inspired the album. His previous albums include Mercury-nominated Kitty Jay and the gold-selling Freedom Fields which features the song ‘King & Country’.
In between writing and recording in 2016 Seth will be performing a number of solo shows in the UK and Europe, including this special appearance at Ropetackle.
