Mike Hatchard, Paul Eshelby, Greg Heath

For his June show, Mike Hatchard is proud to present no less than three musicians who have never played the monthly Jazz Breakfast sessions at Ropetackle.

First up is Paul Eshelby, a trumpeter who has worked with the BBC Scottish Radio Orchestra, the BBC Radio Orchestra, and the BBC Big Band, as well as with many of the world's leading artists from Ella Fitzgerald to Pavarotti, via Freddie Mercury and Queen.

Second, Ollie Boorman is one of the new generation of star drummers, constantly in demand for live and session work in a vast array of musical genres. Equally at home in an orchestra pit for a theatre show, at a jazz club, or on stage with a pop act, Ollie has a reputation for sensitive accompaniment and blistering powerhouse grooves!

Thirdly, saxophonist Greg Heath. Originally from New Zealand, Greg has toured and recorded with a diverse range of artists both in the jazz and pop idioms.
