A very special live double header as part of the "for the common good" festival of events:
Nat Johnson performs on the back of a sell out tour supporting her debut solo album, though her fifth in total, 'Neighbour of the Year' .
Joining Nat will be The Big Eyes Family Players. Formed in 1999, Big Eyes was an outlet for James Green's solo acoustic experimentations. Many amicable line up changes since, and the band has quietly become a staple on the UK's Alt-Folk scene. Essentially, a folk-rock The Fall.
The show will be at Blue Sky Cafe, within The Old Sharrow Junior School, just off Sharrow Lane. You may know it as the former home of the Three Bears Cafe. A new venue for us, but promises to be a cracker. Blue Sky Cafe will be running a licensed bar for us, stocked by Starmore-Boss of Sharrowvale Road. Non-alcoholic refreshments will nbe served also.
