Featuring

Barry Dodds

Barry Dodds appearing at this event
This charming Geordie motor-mouth has audiences in the palm of his hand, even when discussing the most near the knuckle subjects. With material ranging from the supernatural to euthanasia, everything is delivered with a cheeky smile that wins over even the most stony faced of the audience. A finalist in various high profile competitions such as Jimmy Carr’s Comedy Idol and Jongleurs Last Laugh Comedy Search, his twinkly eyed, playful demeanour disarms judging panels, industry experts and audiences alike, allowing him flirt coquettishly with topics that are traditionally a little more unusual. 'Hugely enjoyable... a ton of great stories... one to watch' (The Guardian) 'Razor sharp humour' (Metro) '... the appealing and perceptive Barry Dodds... captivates his audiences with his energy, spirit and tantalizing wit. His mix of surprisingly uncanny and irrepressibly cheeky material leaves them wanting for more' (Funhouse Comedy).

Harriet Dyer

Harriet Dyer appearing at this event
Laughter Lounge Award winner Harriet is described by The Guardian as 'definitely one to watch'. 'She’s got funny bones' (Kevin Bridges) 'Exploring the thin line between eccentric and the mental’ is perfect comedy ground for Harriet Dyer, who seems to have lived her entire life on that interface. Her instinctively funny stand-up is packed full of weird and wonderful incidents from her strange life so far – yet however outlandish the tales, they all have an absolute ring of truth' (Steve Bennett, Chortle at the Leicester Comedy Festival) 'A bundle of whimsical hilarity… a breath of fresh air... will have you in stitches' (Broadway Baby) 'Dyer made the audience feel at home and managed to wow the crowd… Loveable and delightful' (Three Weeks).

Rich Wilson

Rich Wilson appearing at this event
Rich Wilson has loved comedy ever since his older next door neighbour gave him a cassette of Eddie Murphy - Delirious.'It was the most mindblowing thing I'd ever heard. My young ears had never heard language like it.' His comedy aspirations lay dormant until he got a job as a barman at a comedy club in Greenwich, South London. Then in 2004 following some back slapping by those around him, Rich Wilson hit the stage and even amazing himself, hasn't looked back since. 'Highly entertaining' (Time Out) 'Effortlessly funny, smart and filthy. Recommended' (Leicester Mercury) 'He's a very, very funny man' (Frank Skinner).
