Asa National Winter Meet (25m) 2015

The ASA has confirmed the dates for ASA National Winter Meet 2015 (25m). The inaugural short course championships will take place at Ponds Forge International Swimming Centre, Sheffield from 17 – 20 December 2015.

Some of Great Britain’s top swimmers will be in action at the short course competition including Olympian and British short-course record holder, Elizabeth Simmonds. The Bath University swimmer has already shown early season form winning a hat-trick of backstroke titles at last month’s Manchester International Meet.

London Aquatics’ Georgina Pryor, will look to continue her impressive string of short course victories at the ASA Winter Meet. The 17-year-old sprinter was the most decorated athlete at this month’s East Swimming Short Course Championships, sealing victory in the 50m and 100m Butterfly, 50m Freestyle, and 50m Backstroke.

The four-day meet will host a full schedule of events with A and B finals for all individual distances except the women’s 800m and men’s 1500m Freestyle respectively.
