Indoor British Championships

The country’s best athletes will gather in Sheffield on the weekend of 27th-28th February as they battle to be crowned British champion.

With the added incentive of places on the British Athletics team for the World Indoor Championships in Portland up for grabs, the domestic indoor season is sure to reach a thrilling climax at the EIS.

Heptathlon star Katarina Johnson-Thompson set a new British high jump record at this event in 2015, while Jenny Meadows won an incredible seventh indoor title, sub-10 man Chijindu Ujah won a thrilling men’s 60m and British 100m record holder Dina Asher-Smith took the women’s 60m British title.

With the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro on the horizon, Britain’s athletics stars will be aiming to get 2016 off to the best possible start.
