Festival Of Debate Closing Party
Festival of Debate In Association with Wordlife and Verse Matters.
To close Festival they’ll be celebrating 100 years of (some) women’s right to vote.
Helen Pankhurst, granddaughter of Sylvia and great-granddaughter of Emmeline Pankhurst, will do a Q&A based on her book, Deeds Not Words, with University of Sheffield’s Kate Taylor-Jones.
This will be followed by poetry sets from the Ted Hughes Award-winning Hollie McNish, and Salena Godden, and music from Before Breakfast and Girl Gang DJs.
