Partus is not about conception. It’s not about pregnancy. And it’s not about parenthood. It is a show about birth. About the unexpectedly beautiful moments and the painful disappointments and everything in between.

Partus explores those ridiculous, terrifying, exhilarating moments when new people enter this world.

Based on conversations with mothers, fathers, midwives and obstetricians, this partly verbatim show examines one of the most familiar yet mysterious aspects of humanity.
