Family Concert
Magic is the theme of this year’s family concert. Hear the Sevenoaks Symphony Orchestra in full flight playing selections of music inspired by magic, including the Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Cinderella’s Waltz.
These well-loved concerts are a little over an hour long, offering an engaging and fun introduction to orchestral music.
Suitable for children aged 4-12 and their families they will introduce children to the excitement of hearing a live orchestra. Sevenoaks Symphony Orchestra is made up of over 65 players and the Conductor, Darrell Davison is extremely engaging. He will guide you through the concert pieces and tell you what to listen out for.
The ever popular David Leonard (Miss Trunchball in West End’s Matilda) will join the Orchestra to tell the tale of ‘Merlin and the Magician’s Castle’ a story with musical accompaniment. There will also be music from the most famous wizard of all, Harry Potter.
