Kidenza, classical concerts for kids, presents "Santa in Space' a fun family orchestral concert featuring music from Star Wars and international baritone Simon Thorpe as Santa.
It is Christmas Eve and Santa has set off with his sleigh full of presents. All is going well until a ‘SantaNav’ malfunction sends Santa up into space! Join us as we try to rescue him… Featuring music from ‘Star Wars’ and international baritone Simon Thorpe as Santa himself - this concert is sure to put you in a Christmassy mood and is perfect for the whole family!
Two fun and engaging professional classical concerts for families
2pm and 4pm
PLUS percussion workshops with regular Kidenza percussionist Alex Neal before each of the concerts. Children from the workshop will perform on stage in the first part of the concert!
Alex Neal has been co principal percussionist of the BBC Symphony Orchestra since 2003. He has played on many film sound tracks including ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Harry Potter’. Our workshops allow children to work much more closely with our instrumentalists and enhance the concert experience.
