The Dustbowl Revival

A free-thinking eight-piece Americana soul band from Venice, California, Dustbowl Revival mix New Orleans sounds, upbeat Americana swing, a little blues and a dash of roots-rock in their old school sonic safaris, evoking the work of Fleetwood Mac, Paul Simon and classic Stax recordings as well as contemporary stars like Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats or St. Paul & The Broken Bones. Over the last half decade, the group have toured for more than 200 days per year and become known for free-flowing and joyous live shows, combining their funk rhythm and brass section with a fast-picking string band. They have toured China as guests of the state department and headlined festivals like Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, Bergenfest and Tonder, been named Best Live Band in Los Angeles by LA Weekly and received 10 million views for the video for single Never Had to Go, featuring Dick Van Dyke.
