Front Country

Hugely acclaimed Californian acoustic roots band Front Country, led by the glorious bluesy vocals of singer Melody Walker, are arguably the biggest act on the Americana circuit right now. The razor-sharp quintet may use bluegrass instrumentation, but their sound draws on a broad palette of folk, pop, blues and jazz influences. Now based in Nashville, the multi award-winning group is packed with instrumental and songwriting talent including mandolin player Adam Roszkiewicz, who was Grammy nominated for his work on the Modern Mandolin Quartet’s album Americana, while Melody is a previous winner of the Chris Austin Songwriting competition.
