King John
Co-produced by Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and Royal & Derngate Northampton King John, is a tale of social upheaval, war and family feuding, set against the haunting backdrop of one of England's finest medieval cathedrals.
Presented in partnership with Salisbury Cathedral as part of a year-long celebration marking the 800th anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta, this indoor production of King John will be staged just a few feet away from the finest surviving copy of the charter, and alongside the tomb of King John's half-brother, William Longspée.
