Rubber Ring

Jimmy is sixteen, sexually confused and stuck in Sheringham, the seaside town they forgot to bomb. He’s screwed. Well he’s not actually: that’s the problem... When pop star Morrissey comes to London, Jimmy flees to the city to find his hero and himself.

‘Rubber Ring’ is a 'laugh-out-loud' (London Theatre 1) 'funny as hell' (London City Nights) coming of age solo show about a Morrissey fan’s struggle with sexual and regional identity.

The show comes to The Lowry after playing to rave reviews at The Pleasance Islington, Brighton Fringe and The Tristan Bates Theatre in London’s West End.
