Moving North

Moving North is an exciting new dance competition for 2015 open to dancers aged 8-18 based in the north of England, presented by the Royal Academy of Dance.

Following the outcome of the heats in Leeds on 3rd May, Bolton on 10th May and York on 21st June, the best performances from each heat are selected to perform in the final on 18th July in front of a panel of judges. Dancers could enter a solo, duo or group in a variety of styles, either ballet, jazz, contemporary or street dance/hip hop.

The final will be hosted by Blue Peter presenter Radzi Chinyanganya and judged by West End performer, choreographer and So You Think You Can Dance series 2 winner Matt Flint and RAD Artistic Director Lynn Wallis.
