All That Glitters

All That Glitters by Saime Higson is a dramatisation focusing on the last Tsar of Russia and his family during the final 18 months of their lives.

Set against the backdrop of World War I and the ensuing Russian Revolution, this play is 'less politics, more personal'. We learn a lot more about the personalities and characters of Nicholas II, his wife Alexandra and their children Olga, Tatiana, Maria, Anastasia and Alexei.
