Big Band Anatomy - NYJO Schools Concert
In this hour-long schools concert the brilliant young players of the NYJO Ambassadors will explain how jazz works, describe the history of the music, and demonstrate how each instrument plays its own role. It will address elements of the National Curriculum for secondary music education and is accompanied by a Teacher Resource pack – including history, exercises, playlists and signposts to jazz education resources.
