Emergency Story Penguin

The Emergency Story Unit is a secret organisation that deploy at a moment's notice to wherever in the world there's a story emergency and today you get to have a look around their state of the art submarine. A submarine powered only by song!

When news arrives of a stranded penguin all the way down in Antarctica, with your help maybe, just maybe, the penguin can be saved and tell his story once again. But you're going to have to be brave. And clever.

Stories are important. We start a hundred stories every day but so many are left unfinished. And if they are not finished, how can we learn from them? At the Emergency Story Unit we aim to discover every story imaginable.

An Emergency Story Unit exists because sometimes stories are in places that you couldn’t get to without special equipment – like a submarine, or a particularly good set of ears, or a big enough heart. Or stories are under time pressure – like when you have really exciting news and you can’t wait to tell someone.

Emergency Story Penguin is an interactive adventure for young audiences and their families. An installation incorporating puppetry, video and music.
