Rhapsody In Blue is a play with music, based around George Gershwin’s career, his family and life story. It is set in America over the period 1924 to 1937. Scenes from Gershwin’s life, expressed in witty dialogue, alternate with some of his best songs, such as 'Fascinating Rhythm', 'Someone to Watch Over Me', 'S’Wonderful' and 'I Got Rhythm', accompanied by live piano music.
