Fordante is the critically acclaimed Light Classical Ensemble directed by Award Winning film, TV and classical composer Phil Mountford. The five piece Fordante perform some of the most beautiful light classics plus music from the movies alongside their own enchanting original music.
Ideal for music lovers who enjoy lighter, accessible, easier listening classical music.
A typical programme includes film music from Out Of Africa, Gadfly, Moon River, Gone With The Wind, Tico Tico / Brazil & A Summer Place and classical music such as Dance of the Swans, Liberty Bell, Gold and Silver Waltz, La Traviata Prelude, Swan Lake Waltz and Land Of Hope And Glory.
