C.P.E. Bach's Magnificat And Handel's Dixit Dominus

For a summer evening of magnificent Baroque exuberance, Twickenham Choral's concert in the soaring vaults of the Landmark would be hard to beat. Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach's elaborate setting of the Magnificat is also a son's tribute to his father, while Handel's much-loved Dixit Dominus, unarguably one of his great works, is a showpiece for singers and string players alike vivacious, triumphant and brilliant.
