George Gershwin brought jazz to the concert hall and the opera house with works such as Rhapsody in Blue and Porgy and Bess. Richmond Orchestra's own Giles Kennedy stars in the dazzling Rhapsody, which Gershwin wrote for himself to play. The concert also features masterpieces by Copland, Bernstein and Samuel Barber.
