People Show

A 50th anniversary celebration for Britain’s longest-running alternative theatre company. Following a brief introductory talk, a short film will be screened - a poignant yet funny story set backstage in an obscure European theatre. During the interval there will be an exhibition of images from the People Show’s unique archive, and in the second half their newest stage show Seagull Noir will be performed - a comedy thriller, love story and international adventure which takes you from CIA Headquarters to London’s Southbank via a hovel on a Hebridean island.

Expect ground-breaking invention, virtuoso performances and side-splitting comedy from this remarkable company (and some colourful language!).
