Are You Listening? Festival returns on Saturday 18th April for it's third year, following its continuing overwhelming success. Since the event launched in April 2013, it’s sold over 2,500 tickets and to date raised over £16,000 for Reading Mencap, a local charity that supports people with learning disabilities and their families.

The critically acclaimed festival was also nominated for Cultural Contribution in the 2014 Pride of Reading Awards.

The one-day music festival is held across Reading town centre venues and previous festival guests include Ezra Furman, Dan Le Sac, John Kennedy (XFM), I Am Giant, God Damn, The Night VI, Sundara Karma, Tripwires, Red Kite, Mr Fogg and many more.

Apart from raising awareness and funds for the charity, the festival will continue to support the local music scene from the grass roots level upwards. It is a policy of the festival to ensure at least 70% of the artist bookings are from Reading and the Berkshire area. It will also continue to provide Reading students and the local community with valuable, hands-on work experience in areas including music event / project management, branding, marketing and photography.
