Readipop and Steve Southall (Tankata Drummers) introduce you to African drumming in this fun, West African inspired taster workshop.

It's the perfect chance to start hand drumming if you've not tried before, or to practice your skills if you have!

In the workshop you will get hands on with Djembe and Dun Duns, learn some warm up exercises, technique and a few catchy rhythms, there will then be a short performance and a chance to jam alongside Tankata Drummers.

Djembe's provided and beginners welcome.

Following on from this Readipop will be running a 6 week Introduction to African Drumming project, Thursdays, 7pm to 9pm from November 5th.
