A joint production with our accomplished Youth Theatre, Peter Weiss’ groundbreaking and controversial Marat/Sade - or The Persecution and Assassination of Marat as performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton under the direction of the Marquis de Sade, to give it its full title - caused a furore in 1964 on its London debut and still packs a mighty punch now.
