Persae - The Bradfield Greek Play 2017

Bradfield College's 'Greek Year' culminates in a dynamic new production of 'Persae' by Aeschylus.

The oldest surviving play in the history of Theatre, it recounts the Persian response to news of their military defeat under Xerxes at the Battle of Salamis in 480 BCE.

Evening performances will be accompanied by a short talk. Speakers TBC.

Please note that the performance on Tuesday 27th June is primarily aimed at schools.
