Next Exhibition
The second exhibition of 2014 will feature four very different artists -
HOWARD COLES - Shorelines
By exposing the underpainting Howard gives not only depth, but also life and movement to each piece. His prophetic textures and confident strokes are the result of years of observation and experience.
This long established gallery artist is one of our most accomplished painters. This exhibition will not only demonstrate his skill as a painter but also his love for the shorelines of Wales.
PENELOPE TIMMIS - New works
Penelope's paintings are full of life and exuberance, very much reflecting her own personality. A Member of the Society of Women Artists and The Royal Society of Birmingham Artists she has exhibited widely throughout Wales and the West Midlands.
With deceptive simplicity she captures the gestures and expressions of farmyard birds and animals and the rich, beautiful colours of her garden and surrounding countryside. An uplifting, energising show to herald the arrival of Spring.
LISA EURGAIN TAYLOR
Plas Glyn-y-Weddw is delighted to present recent work by Lisa Eurgain Taylor, an emerging artist from Anglesey whose work is influenced by the landscape of Snowdonia and Welsh literature.
ELIZABETH PRICE - Choir (Part 1 & 2), 2011
Work by Turner Prize winning artist Elizabeth Price opens our year of artist films on the theme of music.
