With an amiable, confident stage presence and a well written set, Danny delivers material with more than just an immediate pay-off line, preferring to take the joke one or two steps further.
Confident enough to take a risk on stage he does so not to the detriment of the audience, keeping them laughing along or hanging on every word.
A bright future surely awaits.
'McLoughlin's main weapon is his audacity: he's so bold he can recite an advertising jingle and still get plenty of laughs' (Chortle).

Stand up comedian Penella Mellor is one newcomer who is destined for stardom. Following in the footsteps of Sarah Millican, Jack Whitehall and Jimmy Carr, Penella beat off stiff competition to appear in 2014's Amused Moose Laugh Off final. Despite two of the other finalists becoming ‘mysteriously’ trapped in a lift shortly before the show, Penella was sadly unable to secure victory.
'A dark-edged set full of disdain for her daughter. Yet it never seems nasty, more a wry confessional about her own lack of maternal instinct. Such unflinching approach to the 'bad mum' persona is admirable, and she delivers with an appealing coolness... top comic in waiting' (Chortle)
'One of the most exciting newcomers around' (Jason Manford).
