Standing Together Against Racism
On the back of last years successful event, we are absolutely delighted to host leading hip-hop act Kingslee “Akala” Daley at the second STAR Music Event in Preston on Fri 27 March, 2015.
This event will support and raise awareness of events across the world including the USA, Middle East and UK.
Akala won the MOBO “Best Hip-Hop” award for his debut album “It’s Not A Rumour”. Since then he has released his second album “Freedom Lasso” and toured extensively in the UK and around the world.
Akala will be supported by performances from leading classical Indian artists and the Palestinian band 47 Soul.
Food and refreshments will be available to buy.
Art, Clothing and Music stalls will be selling merchandise associated to the event.
