Encore Dance Company is a diverse, touring, UK-based company, showcasing a variety of genres of dance including classical ballet, jazz, contemporary, commercial dance and more.
It specializes in presenting skillful, well-rounded, young dancers, performing in a multitude of versatile styles. Encore Dance Company under the direction of Antony Dowson (former Royal Ballet Principal), has been created to allow young dancers to further develop their skills, enhanced through the performance opportunities provided.
This year’s Encore Dance Company tour will travel the length and breadth of England and Wales. The 17 strong cast will perform a range of diverse dance works including Elite Syncopations choreographed by Sir Kenneth MacMillan with the music of Scott Joplin, an extract from the ballet Traces by Cathy Marston (former Director of the Bern Ballet in Switzerland) and other notable Choreographers will include Egor Menshikov, Christian Alozie (Flawless), Jodie Blemings, Terry Wright to name but a few.
