An evening of classical guitar featuring the Katona Twins, supported by the Liverpool Guitar Society and showcasing students from BHSA.
This is an entertaining evening, taking place in the new theatre at BHSA in Birkenhead. The internationally renowned Katona Twins perform a broad mix of classical through to more modern and popular arrangements from Mozart to Metallica for two guitars. Prepare to be amazed!
The Katona Twins are ably supported by a quartet from the Liverpool Guitar Society, of which the Katonas are patrons. Set up in 2010 by Scott Russell, the Society aims to act as a focal point for those interested in listening to and/or playing classical guitar on Merseyside. Again, their set features a broad range of music.
The evening begins with performances from some of the students at BHSA.
This is a fabulous opportunity to hear some amazing music and also take a look at some of the new facilities available at BHSA.
