Portsmouth Festivities 2014: And This Is My Friend Mr Laurel
A biographical one man play about the life of Stan Laurel; one half of the most remembered and best loved comedy double acts, who famously performed at The Kings Theatre in 1954.
Set in the bedroom of a sick Oliver Hardy the show takes place during Laurel's visit to the dying man. Recounting their past success as Laurel and Hardy, this is a humorous and touching look at one of the great comedy partnerships of the last century.
