Through The Seasons: Will Pound, Benji Kirkpatrick, Ross Grant, Debs Newbold
A celebration of the year in folk dance, “Through the Seasons” gives audiences a chance to experience three exceptional musicians showcase beautiful arrangements of traditional dance tunes and songs, with Will’s innovative and playful style from all the joy of a summer’s festival to the thrill of a winter’s fireside rapper sword-dance.
Will Pound is one of the world’s top harmonica players and has taken the instrument to new places and new music with a style that is completely his own.
Will plays both diatonic and chromatic harmonicas and creates sounds not usually heard on this little instrument in styles varying from bluegrass, folk, jazz and Arabic to blues, rock, pop and funk.
Will was nominated BBC Radio 2 Folk Musician Of The Year 2012.
