Victorian Festival Of Christmas

Find your way to festive fun in the new-for-this-year Magical Christmas Maze and find some hidden treats along the way for the annual Victorian Festival of Christmas at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

The maze will be right next to world famous warship and Nelson’s flagship, HMS Victory. There will be real ale, in the popular Fagin’s Tavern, and visitors can get into the full festive spirit along the Dickensian, snow-covered streets, with Victorian characters and performers providing entertainment throughout the weekend.

Strolling through the snowy historic dockyard site and spreading festive cheer will be a Victorian Father Christmas, dressed in traditional green colours.

The family-favourite Christmas Market returns, with around 150 traders selling original gifts, crafts, jewellery and refreshments.

More than 30,000 people are expected to visit the Victorian Festival of Christmas this year.

Tickets to the event include entry to The Mary Rose, National Museum of the Royal Navy, HMS Warrior 1860, HMS Victory, Action Stations and Harbour Tours (weather permitting), the newly-opened First World War Gallipoli survivor HMS M.33 and soon-to-be-opened Boathouse 4 exhibition.
