Portsmouth. Summer 1914. A city prepares to go to war. Hopes and fears, smiles and tears, lost to history. But not any more.
 
Working with internationally acclaimed video-performance art collective Wilson-Eflerova,  people from Portsmouth - your friends and neighbours - have been exploring true stories from the eve of the Great War. They’ve read diaries, letters and testimony from 100 years ago. And they’ve created an extraordinary visual tapestry, like nothing you’ve seen before.
 
Tonight, witness the past brought back to life. From high above the Dockyard, the voices of Portsmouth past will speak again. You’ll never forget what they have to say.
