A murderous comedy about love, silk and barbarian hordes; this play seeks to uncover the truth about the fabled Mongolian khan. Genghis, a fast-moving one act, pits historical fact against storytelling in a head-on collision of physical humour.

Three actors take on the role of 21 characters as Genghis progresses from troubled teenager to conqueror of half the world. Joined by his exotic wives, his armies and the cloying bodies of those he cuts down, this play unpicks the twisting nature of truth over time.
