Derek Acorah

Derek Acorah is one of the world’s most renowned Spiritualise Mediums having demonstrated to millions of people in theatres throughout the UK and beyond over his 25 year career in the public eye.
During the show Derek will be delivering messages from the other side to members of the audience.

Derek’s television career dates back over fifteen years when he became the first Medium in the UK to demonstrate live on air and without the benefit of an edit suite on programmers such as 'Psychic Live Time' and 'The Psychic Zone'. He has since followed up with further programmes such as 'Derek Acorah’s Predictions', 'Connections with Derek Acorah', 'Derek Acorah’s Ghost Towns', 'Derek Acorah' and 'Paranormal Eight'.

Derek is particularly well known for his involvement with the television programme, 'Most Haunted'. Derek’s accuracy and charm during filming saw him dubbed as 'Mr. Most Haunted' by the programme’s many millions of viewers throughout the world.

Derek has worked in America where in 1998 he demonstrated live at The Vogue Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, as well as taking part in a number of Hollywood based paranormal investigations with the then International Society for Paranormal Research. Derek recently returned to America to conduct a demonstration and visit Salem, Massachusetts where the infamous trials took place. Derek’s career has also seen him following in the footsteps of Guy Fawkes for the 500th anniversary of the Gunpowder Plot.

After 35 years as a professional medium, Derek remains a dedicated worker for Sprit, connecting people with their loved ones in the spirit world and bringing proof of survival on a daily basis. He is also passionate about working in his investigative role in attempting to validate and confirm the presence spirit entities in some of the world’s most haunted locations.
