Electrifying tenor saxophonist and Lighthouse favourite Simon Spillett returns for his first performance in 4 years along with a fabulous, all-star band. Leader of both small and big jazz ensembles,?Simon's high octane energy,?soloing often at breakneck speed, is most likened to the legendary British sax player, Tubby Hayes, of whom he has written extensively. This set will see him perform some Tubby numbers alongside originals and standards by other jazz greats, from both sides of the Atlantic.
