2018’s jazz season kicks off with a world jazz treat. Lighthouse favourite, British-Asian clarinettist and composer Arun Ghosh, returning by popular demand with his fabulous, hard hitting quintet.

A leading light on UK and international jazz scenes, captivating audiences and critics with his passionate performance style, Arun has been named Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year in the APPJA/Parliamentary Jazz Awards and was also a Musician in Residence for the British Council.

Thokozile Collective are local favourites, their African infused, funk-laden sounds proving a real hit at the Jazz by the Sea Festival. They will be launching their long-awaited debut album.
