Set in the Second World War and modern day, Nursing Lives is a humorous and nostalgic full mask show celebrating bravery and the human spirit, and comes complete (as you might expect) with singing pigs.

When Flo, a feisty seventy-something, learns that the hospital she worked at during the Second World War is being demolished, she decides she needs to take one last look. Her illicit visit becomes a personal celebration - of friendship, courage, adventure, and romance. But it also reveals a hidden secret, one which Flo still holds close.

Nursing Lives, like all Vamos Theatre shows, is wordless, telling its story through physical communication, supported by strong visual design and an original soundtrack. The production is accessible, humorous, poignant and human, and addresses issues of life in war, separation and unjustness.
