No stranger to Plymouth audiences, internationally acclaimed choreographer Hofesh Shechter returns to Theatre Royal Plymouth this season with an explosive new creation.

In this new full-length evening, Shechter makes a return to live music, in a score which he composes for a group of spirited and eclectic instrumentalists who play on stage alongside his tribe of world class dancers. Shechter’s world explores the clash of juicy sentimentalism with the harshness and roughness of a life where the body is an agent of conflict.

Intricate choreographic patterns and a rich musical score come together in a heady mix of power and emotion to tell a surreal, impossible tale about the human spirit.
