David Bintley’s Cinderella is a glorious, award-winning celebration of ballet – an enchanting fairy tale with sumptuous designs by John Macfarlane, designer of Birmingham Royal Ballet’s famous Nutcracker.
Living a life of drudgery and hardship with her cruel stepmother and stepsisters, Cinderella’s life changes dramatically on the evening of an extravagant party at the palace. With the help of her Fairy Godmother, dressed in a stunning gown, she arrives at the ball in a magical coach and charms the handsome Prince. Swept off her feet, they dance the night away but as the clock chimes midnight, will all Cinderella’s dreams come to an abrupt end..?
