Peninsula Arts offers a mini-festival that introduces contemporary chamber music for piano, saxophone and electronics with talks presented by composers.

This programme is an exploration of the sounds possible on the saxophone. The repertoire has been chosen deliberately to extend conventional notions of what is possible: you will hear acoustic saxophone and piano compositions (Quate), acoustic writing for the same combination with extended techniques (Moroz), live saxophone with pre-recorded backing and live electronic processing (Davis, Gregory, Keegan-Bole), interaction with specially developed software (Kirke), and a fixed media composition built up from sounds extracted from Williams' pre-recorded saxophone playing.
