Night Driver UK Tour

Following the release their brand new single in over a decade, the disco-tinged new single, ‘On What You’re On’, pop trio Busted are pleased to announce a UK headline tour. The string of dates will kick off at Norwich’s NEA on 29 January and will include performances in prestigious theatres across the country including London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo on 3rd February before wrapping up on 1st March in Dublin. The twenty-one date tour announcement comes ahead of the release of their eagerly anticipated third album ‘Night Driver’ on 11th November via East/West Records.

Charlie said, 'We can't wait wait for people to hear this song and be able to share what we have been working so hard on for the past twelve months.'

Now, with a decade of experiences and newly discovered influences behind them, the two-time BRIT Award winning trio reunited in the studio almost by accident and discovered they each had a fresh perspective both personally and musically. 'As soon as we started making music it became very apparent that we all wanted to make exactly the same thing,' Matt says. 'That’s what made it so easy. Once James got on the Juno-60 we were like, ‘this is the sound of our record, this is exactly the kind of record I wanna make.'

'The last thing we wanted to do was try to recreate what we used to have,' says James. 'It belongs to that time. All real artists evolve, all real artists try things, it’s unnatural not to.'

Though stylistically unrecognisable and far darker around the edges, ‘Night Driver’ is still the vivid hook riot you would expect from Busted, as vivacious in their early thirties as they were in their teens, and the band are itching to present it to the world.

A few years after Busted ended, members Matt and James formed McBusted with the McFly guys while Charlie took a heavier direction with his band Fightstar. Now the original three have reunited as Busted. With their crashing guitars and high-octane pop choruses, they released a string of hit singles between 2002-2004 including four no.1s plus the unforgettable early hits 'What I Go To School For' and 'Year 3000'. Busted paint perfect snapshots of life, the sound of young, bright guitar-friendly Britain. The boys returned with a new album in 2016; 'Night Driver' and released 'Half Way There' in February 2019 which perfectly brought back the 'Busted' sound again..
