Lunchtime Talk: Gertrude Benham And Collecting In Fiji
Listen as Dr Catherine Cummings, Research Fellow at the University of Exeter, outlines the travels and collecting of Gertrude E. Benham who circumnavigated the world eight times between 1904 and her death in 1938. Catherine will specifically focus on some of the objects in the Benham collection that come from Fiji and which are currently on display in the ‘Fiji: Ocean Connections’ exhibition.
