Trouser-Wearing Characters
Rose Collis brings her acclaimed one-woman musical cabaret show to Ipswich Central Library as part of an Arts Council-funded tour for LGBT History Month 2016.
Trouser-Wearing Characters is the first ever musical cabaret show written and performed by a British female author. This original entertainment, written and performed by one of Sussex’s favourite personalities, is a unique mixture of music, history and comedy. It combines stories, vignettes and songs about some of her favourite, eclectic LGBT trouser-wearing characters.
The original production was directed by Matt Thompson.
All performances will be followed by informal Q&A sessions with Rose Collis and opportunities to buy books by her.
